A few days ago, CrazyEgg introduced a new feature called ‘Confetti’. It allows a user to view more information in a new colourfull report. New indicators in Confetti are referral websites, search terms, operating system, browsers, window size and time to click. Clicks are being indicated by colour dots. Confetti is being added to all new CrazyEgg-accounts. Personally, I’m not jet convinced of the new input, but the ‘time to click’-indicator can give valuable input to the usability of a website.

The time of luring visitors to a website is over. Search Marketing (SEO & SEA) surely has its trump cards, but search marketing customers are only interested in one thing: conversions. The more payments/registrations/subscriptions/… a website receives the better. What is the point of attracting visitors if they do not convert?
QueroMedia wants to follow this trend by providing a program to improve the conversion rate on your website. We call this conversion optimization. This is an ideal mix between usability standards and software tools like Google Analytics and Google Website Optimizer. Usability is a term with refers to the user friendliness of a website or web page. Making a web page easier to navigate, will ultimately lead to more conversions. With a web analytics tool (Google Analytics), we can perfectly evaluate the condition of a website. Google Website Optimizer allows you to dynamically test page sections on web pages if you are in possession of Google Adwords champaign.
The reason of starting Usalyze is twofold:
1. By posting on this weblog, we bring together all the ideas and thoughts we have on usability, web analytics and website testing. Readers may reply to our posts.
2. Our potential customers need more information about what we do and what we can mean for them. Hopefully, this blog will answer a lot of questions they have.
Every company evolves and QueroMedia never leaves innovations aside. Attract & convert is our new philosophy!
